How do you get through the Moving Heaven and Earth side quest in Final Fantasy 16?
Along your journey completing main quests in Valisthea, you may want to take a short break from all the action and complete a quick side quest. The Moving Heaven and Earth side quest is one you will receive from the Bohumil, Chief Botanist, in which you must collect soil samples. You will trigger this quest during a Main story quest, The Hunter and the Hunted. This quest will take place in Cid’s Hideaway in Final Fantasy XVI.
- After speaking to Jill, go downstairs to The Furrows.
- Now speak to Bohumil to accept the quest.
- Once you have accepted the quest, Fast Travel to Southern Sanbreque, the Orabelle Downs.
- You can find Bohumil’s assistant on the right side of the Gaultand’s Bales vineyard field.
- You will find her near a storage shack surrounded by Vine Spinners
- Defeat the enemies
- The assistant, Martelle, will then ask you to collect soil samples
- You must collect four samples from the nearby vineyard.
- Three Vineyard soil samples will be on the right side of the field and one on the left.
Once you have collected the samples, return to the Hideaway in the Deadlands. After this, speak to Bohumil and hand over the samples. Martelle will then reward you for your troubles. You will be rewarded with 10x Valley Madder, 20x Sharp Fang, and 30x Bloody Hide. Additionally, you will also receive 19x EXP. Unfortunately, you will not receive any Ability Points or Gil.
