The return of the Fortnite Chapter 1 map is a popular topic, once again. With the addition of a time machine, players have many theories regarding the future of the game. Considering that Kado Thorne used the machine to travel back to the past, this may become a possibility for players as well.
This season’s primary antagonist traveled back in time to retrieve special trophies. Thanks to the time machine, it is now possible to use many amazing weapons in Fortnite. However, the presence of the machine brings so much potential for new gameplay features.
One of these new features could be the return to the first-ever Fortnite map.
Fortnite Chapter 1 could return in late 2023
Kado Thorne’s time machine is certainly one of the most interesting elements of the current Fortnite season. The vampire used it to travel back to the past to obtain Oro’s head. More specifically, Kado traveled to March 25, 2020. On this date, Fortnite was in Chapter 2 – Season 2.
The time machine is currently not in the game. However, dataminers have found a couple of references to it, meaning that it’ll likely be released within a few weeks. Additionally, it appears that the time machine will be located under Eclipsed Estate, a popular named location.
The time machine offers numerous possibilities, but many players would love to go back to Fortnite Chapter 1. However, there’s also a chance that Epic Games allows players to travel even further into the past and see the events preceding the first-ever season.
Considering that Chapter 5 will likely be released in November or December 2023, we will likely see the machine in action by then. Epic is working on a new Fortnite live event, and the event will likely have something to do with Kado Thorne and his machine.
Will Chapter 5 actually bring back Chapter 1? We’ll have to wait for two months to find out the answer.
