Epic Games stopped releasing Fortnite patch notes with the release of Chapter 2, which is why tracking in-game changes can be difficult. Fortunately, the community is very quick when it comes to finding changes.

The v25.11 content update was released on Tuesday, July 11. Even though Epic is on summer break, the development team prepared the update earlier and scheduled it to come out. The update isn’t big, but it has brought some significant changes to the video game.

This article will cover Fortnite patch notes, helping you see all the changes that have been released.

Fortnite patch notes for the v25.11 update

The biggest change that arrived with the latest Fortnite update is the removal of the Chug Cannon. The Exotic item was first added in Chapter 2 – Season 5 and was one of the fan-favorite items. However, it is no longer available in the game.

Fortunately, this doesn’t mean that there will be fewer healing items in the game. Epic Games released Slap Splashes with the v25.11 update, and they will replace the Exotic cannon.

Slap Splashes come in Rare (Blue) and Exotic variants. The Rare variant heals for 15 HP and grants a 30-second Slap effect. The Exotic variant is much better as it grants two times more healing and a 60-second stamina boost.

Epic Games also added two new Reality Augments:

  • Splash Party – Instantly receive Slap Splashes
  • Roaming Redeploy – Gain Glider Redeploy whenever you gain immunity to fall damage – such as when detaching from grind vines, grind rails, or ziplines, or when bouncing from Hop Flowers

The first perk is perfect for players who need quick heals or mobility. The Splash Party Reality Augment grants 4 Slap Splashes, which can be game-changers in certain situations. The second augment is great for mobility and is very similar to Aerialist, the perk that was active in Chapter 4 – Season 1.
