Epic Games is well known for foreshadowing future events in Fortnite. This has happened numerous times, and Chapter 4 – Season 4 is not an exception. The new season of the popular video game is just around the corner, yet Epic teased its theme all the way back in 2021.
The video game developer recently teased the theme of Season 4 by sending content creators special gifts. However, the first teaser for the upcoming season was released in December 2021, with the release of Chapter 3.
While this may sound impossible, the theme of Chapter 4 – Season 4 was right in front of us for nearly two years.
Next Fortnite season will likely be all about the moon eclipse
Fortnite players can witness a special in-game event at the Apparatus. The event was released last week but has gone through several stages since then. The Apparatus telescope will play a major role in introducing players to Chapter 4 – Season 4, and the event will go through a few more stages.
It appears that the purpose of the event is come up with an escape plan. More specifically, the Last Reality is still around, and the loopers seem to be looking for a way out. Due to this, there’s a chance that they will visit the Ice Moon by the end of the chapter.
Ronin, a Legendary character from Chapter 3 – Season 1 Battle Pass, already teased the theme of the next Fortnite season. Ronin has a moon on his necklace, which is a clear reference to Season 4. Not only this, but the moon looks almost identical to the moon that was sent to content creators by Epic Games.
Ronin’s Revenge is a loading screen that was obtained from the same Battle Pass. Even though it was released in late 2021, the loading screen showed Mega City, a location that would later be added to the video game.
Thanks to the character, the theme of the upcoming season was nearly confirmed. However, we’ll have to wait for a bit longer to get an official confirmation. Fortnite Chapter 4 – Season 4 is scheduled to come out on Friday, August 25, and we’ll likely get more information by then.
