The spawn of Oggdo is a hidden boss on Koboh. Just as if you want to find the Rancor, you will need to search for this secret boss. Spawn of Oggdo can be found in the area of Koboh called Fort Kah’Lin. There is a Meditation Point here for you to unlock once you locate the area.

When you find the Meditation Point, locate the jump in the image above. It is directly in front of the Meditation Point, making it hard to miss. Follow the pathway and it will lead you to a large group of battle droids standing around a large hatch. Beneath the hatch is the arena for the Spawn of Oggdo.

The Spawn of Oggdo is a very difficult fight, especially if you are trying to challenge the beast early on in the game. We recommend you collect the other stances in the game and upgrade your health a bit before attempting the fight or the Spawn of Oggdo will easily defeat you.

Throughout the fight, Spawn of Oggdo will use multiple attacks but stick to a pretty similar patter, making the attacks somewhat easy to predict. The boss will use the following attacks throughout the fight:

  • Charged Lunge – Spawn of Oggdo will get back on its hind legs and jet forward. This attack cannot by parried.
  • Basic Bites – Spawn of Oggdo will perform either one or two bite attacks. These can be parried.
  • Charged Jump – Spawn of Oggdo will jump up and slam the ground, creating a shockwave. This attack cannot be parried.
  • Large Leap – Spawn of Oggdo will leap in the air, performing a greater slam with a large shockwave. This attack cannot be parried.
  • Tongue Shot – Spawn of Oggdo will shoot out its tongue. If this move connects, it will instantly kill you.

Throughout the beginning of the fight, Spawn of Oggdo will stick to using mostly bite attacks and charged lunges. Be sure to parry to bites. If the boss performs two, it is okay to get a hit or two in. If only one bite is performed, don’t attack because another attack is coming in.

The best way to take on the Spawn of Oggdo is by staying near the boss and strafing to one side or the other. This makes it easier to avoid the boss’ lunge attacks. When the boss jumps, use your Force jump to avoid the shockwaves. If the boss jumps back, it will use its tongue attack so be careful and dodge to the left or right. Don’t be afraid to run back to avoid the tongue as well.

Repeat the process of parrying the basic bites and getting a slash or two in until the fight is over. Any stance is good for this fight but we recommend sticking with the Double-Bladed stance.
