Flipping a troll’s club is a great way of defeating these powerful foes, but how do you flip something like a club in Hogwarts Legacy? Well, the secret to that comes in the form of the useful spell: Flipendo. Due to the fact trolls tend to have a slow attack speed, you can exploit this weakness by flipping the club upwards using Flipendo. Once the Troll slams it’s club down into the ground with both hands, cast the spell on the club. This will flip the club straight into the unknowing troll’s face, dealing massive damage and knocking them out.
How to unlock Flipendo
Unlocking Flipendo is the key to this trick of course, so let’s give you a quick rundown on how it’s done. Flipendo can also be referred to as the Knockback Jinx and is commonly used to disrupt enemies and break their defense.
In order to unlock Flipendo, you’ll have to complete the side quest ‘Professor Garlick’s Assignment 2’ – following her first assignment of course. This involves harvesting Fluxweed and using all three plants simultaneously in combat.
