This includes healing items like Green Herbs that come in very short supply. However, there is a single healing source that is unlimited assuming you have the time and patience to farm it. However, getting a nice supply of eggs can be quite confusing. As you play through the Resident Evil 4 Remake, you might end up with a few in your inventory with no real clue how you got them. That’s because most eggs in the game don’t have a static spawn location.
As you might expect though, any chicken in the game has a chance to spawn an egg after a random amount of time. So don’t go around killing every animal you see for the hope at some Pesetas. Standing around chickens while you are low on health will make it so they spawn eggs. Each chicken has a chance to spawn white and brown eggs. A large supply of eggs can be obtained from chicken island on the eastern side of the lake in chapter 4 if you don’t mind waiting for a while.
Depending on the rarity of the egg, it will heal for more and be worth a bit more to the merchant. With the coveted golden egg being worth the most and being needed for one of the games many requests. However golden eggs don’t randomly spawn and instead will need to be found at later points in the game around the castle.
Finally, there are a few static egg spawn locations, such as the kitchen in the Village Chief’s Manor. As well as any snake in a box being able to drop an egg when killed.
