How to get a UV light in Redfall
What is the one thing that vampires absolutely hate? Well, besides garlic and wooden stakes. If you answered the sun, you would be correct. If you want to disperse the red mist, you need to start by getting a UV light. That’s right, it has nothing to do with a character ability.
UV lights are very useful in the game and will help you during combat as well as with getting rid of the red mist. If you want to get your hands on a UV light, it will mainly be up to luck. Each time you visit the armory, there is a chance that a UV light will be available for purchase. If one is, don’t hesitate to buy it since it will definitely help you.
How to disperse the red mist in Redfall
Once you have your hands on a UV light, you will be able to start clearing the red mist. Unfortunately, the only true way to completely disperse the red mist is by searching for and destroying the gargoyle within it.
Each plume of red mist has a gargoyle statue at the center to completely get rid of the red mist, you and your friends will need to track down this gargoyle statue and shine the UV light on it. You will know when you hit the gargoyle because there will be a loud scream.
With the statue destroyed, the red mist will disappear. Just be sure to stake any vampires that might appear afterward.
