Madden 24 is an EA Sports game, which means it could very well end up on the variety of services that carry their titles. Game Pass has a lot of EA and EA has their own service that gamers can subscribe to. This can be a much simpler way of getting Electronic Arts games in many instances.

EA Play is a subscription-based gaming service from the titular company. It works for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and 5 as well as Microsoft Windows platforms. It gives subscribers access to a multitude of games published by Electronic Arts and comes with additional incentives to subscribe. The service costs $5 a month, which is much less than what Madden 24 retails for. Is it on the service?

Will EA Play have Madden 24?

EA Play will not have Madden 24. Currently, the older releases from EA’s sports catalog are on the service, such as Madden 23, FIFA 23, PGA Tour 2K23, and F1 Manager 22. Based on this, the game will more than likely be added to the subscription service before the next installment arrives, but that won’t be for a long time.

EA Play is a great, cheap way to gain access to much of what the developers have to offer. However, it would drastically reduce their revenue if they were to put a game like Madden NFL 24 on there that’s otherwise selling for $70 or $100, especially when it’s brand new.

Eventually, the game will be on EA Play as well as Game Pass, but for now, the only way to gain access is to purchase a full copy of the game from wherever you normally buy games as you can pre-order either the Deluxe Edition or Standard Edition right now before it launches.

EA Play subscriptions do allow gamers to get a discount on the pre-order, but that’s the end of the benefits when it comes to Madden. An EA account and agreement to the EA Play terms are necessary.
