Fullbacks are an often overlooked position in Madden 24. They’re hardly involved with most offensive plays, and a majority of NFL teams don’t have a full-time fullback. A lot of them are just backup tight ends. Nevertheless, while there aren’t a lot of good ones, it’s vital to know which ones are useful. Here are the top 10.

Who are the best fullbacks in Madden 24?
Here are the top fullbacks from the game. All Madden ratings are from the official EA Sports rating website.
- Ben Mason – 67 OVR
- Jakob Johnson – 68 OVR
- Andrew Beck – 70 OVR
- Michael Burton – 71 OVR
- Khari Blasingame – 72 OVR
- CJ Ham – 75 OVR
- Reggie Gilliam – 76 OVR
- Alec Ingold – 77 OVR
- Patrick Ricard – 81 OVR
- Kyle Juszczyk- 87 OVR
10) Ben Mason – 67 OVR
Ben Mason may be fairly low-rated overall, and a 67 is not very good, but he does have useful attributes. His speed, accuracy, agility, and strength are all above 80. He can be useful to get a couple of yards in a pinch for the Baltimore Ravens, though they are one of the teams that employ a good fullback (see below).
9) Jakob Johnson – 68 OVR
The same logic can be applied to Jakob Johnson of the Las Vegas Raiders. A 68 overall rating is not a good rating, and most position groups in Madden NFL 24 don’t have a 68 anywhere near the top 10. Nevertheless, he has 80 awareness and 75 carrying, so he can be helpful.
8) Andrew Beck – 70 OVR
Andrew Beck, the Houston Texans fullback, has very good speed (85) and acceleration (88). If he gets into space, he could run for a while. Fullback screens and other plays might be viable with Beck.
7) Michael Burton – 71 OVR
The fullback for the Denver Broncos has a nice role- carving out space for Javonte Williams and protecting Russell Wilson. As such, a 71 overall is not too bad. An 82 strength rating suggests that Michael Burton is fairly good at those things.
6) Khari Blasingame – 72 OVR
Khari Blasingame has 91 acceleration, which is extremely good. It’s the highest rating of any fullback in the top 10 and one of the best for the position overall. He can turn on the burners and leave defenders in the dust in Madden 24.
5) CJ Ham – 75 OVR
CJ Ham is somewhat viable as a ball carrier. The Minnesota Vikings back won’t take carries from the running backs, but his 78 strength and 81 speed suggest that he could get carries here and there and it would help the offense.
4) Reggie Gilliam – 76 OVR
Reggie Gilliam plays for the Buffalo Bills, which means he is vital to the running game. The Bills don’t feature strong running backs, so Gilliam plays a bigger role than he might elsewhere. His 76 doesn’t strike fear into Madden opponents, but it does make him a viable runner.
3) Alec Ingold – 77 OVR
Alec Ingold has the same sort of situation. The Miami Dolphins are stacked on offense, except in the backfield. Luckily, they have a top-three fullback to lean on in short-yardage scenarios. Ingold excels there.
2) Patrick Ricard – 81 OVR
Patrick Ricard is one of the best fullbacks in the game and has been for a while now. How ironic it is that the Ravens employ two of the top 10 fullbacks in Madden 24. Ricard gets a lot of usage in the most dynamic and unique rushing offense in the NFL.
1) Kyle Juszczyk- 87 OVR
Kyle Juszcsyk is the best fullback in Madden. He can truly do it all with the San Francisco 49ers. He can get carries to give Christian McCaffrey a breather, but he can also run routes out of the backfield thanks to his terrific hands.
