Do you want to do the griddy celebration in Madden NFL 24? When you get a touchdown, it is only right to do a dance to celebrate your accomplishment. What better way to showboat than by doing the griddy on the goal line?

The griddy became very popular after Ja’Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson popularized the dance move. It start showing up in Madden just last year. EA Sports is staying current and bringing back many popular moves so you can showboat in front of your opponents when you hit the end zone.

You probably already know how to block a blitz and celebrate a great play. It’s also easy to change your camera angles to get a better view of the game. How do you do specific moves though? This guide will show you how to do the griddy in Madden 24.

How to perform the griddy in Madden 24

If you want to perform the griddy in Madden 24, you need to have chosen one of three players; Jefferson, Chase, or D.J. Chark. These are the only players who are able to perform the dance after they spike the ball in the endzone. Over the season, if players in the real NFL adopt the griddy, Madden may update the list.

Like other celebrations, performing this signature celebration is console specific:

  • PlayStation – Hold L2 button and push the right stick to the left
  • Xbox – Hold LT button and push the right stick to the left

This will allow you to perform the player’s signature move. If you have chosen wide receiver Justin Jefferson, or one of the others mentioned above, you will perform the griddy dance. Remember, there are only specific players who can perform this celebration. Others will perform different moves.

Performing a celebration run prior to dancing in the endzone is another way to show off to your opponent and make them realize what just happened. Mix things up and add some crowd celebrations to your arsenal of taunts as well.
