Punting is less than ideal in Madden 24, but it is a necessary part of the game. No matter who you are, you will come across a fourth down that is impractical to attempt converting and you will need to punt at some point. That makes a good punter useful to everyone. Here are the best punters in Madden 24.

Who are the best punters in Madden 24?

Here are the official best punters. All Madden ratings below were revealed by EA Sports’ official Madden NFL 24 rating page.

  1. Corey Bojorquez- 78 OVR
  2. Blake Gillikin- 78 OVR
  3. Tress Way- 79 OVR
  4. Thomas Morstead- 79 OVR
  5. Bryan Anger- 80 OVR
  6. Logan Cooke- 81 OVR
  7. Johnny Hekker- 81 OVR
  8. Ryan Stonehouse- 82 OVR
  9. Tommy Townsend- 83 OVR
  10. AJ Cole III- 83 OVR

10) Corey Bojorquez- 78 OVR

The Cleveland Browns punter is relatively young, so don’t be surprised if he continues to trend upward on this list. He’s been reliable and talented for a while, and he finds himself just inside the top 10 for Madden 24.

9) Blake Gillikin- 78 OVR

Blake Gillikin lands within the top 10 thanks to his excellent kick power of 95. His accuracy, while far from bad, is not as good, but it still makes him a well-rounded kicker for the New Orleans Saints. Madden players can do far worse than Gillikin.

8) Tress Way- 79 OVR

Tress Way is as dependable as they come. The Washington Commanders punt quite a bit, and they have a good one to handle that job. He doesn’t make mistakes and he’s usually pretty good at giving his coverage team a chance to make a big play.

7) Thomas Morstead- 79 OVR

Thomas Morstead has been around the league, but that’s hardly due to a lack of talent. He’s one of the older punters in the league, and he’s still kicking with incredible prowess. His kick power rating of 93 remains one of the best metrics in Madden.

6) Bryan Anger- 80 OVR

Bryan Anger is a veteran punter who just doesn’t seem to get worse. He is consistently one of the best punters in any Madden game, and that remains true for this one. The Dallas Cowboys punter will be one to look out for.

5) Logan Cooke- 81 OVR

Logan Cooke has some of the best kick accuracy in Madden 24. While the Jacksonville Jaguars don’t rely on their punter too often, he is easily capable of coming on and planting a kick right where he wants it to go.

4) Johnny Hekker- 81 OVR

Johnny Hekker is a great punter, but he’s also a fun one. With the Los Angeles Rams and now the Carolina Panthers, Hekker is known for trick plays. He’s more athletic than a lot of punters, so fake punts could be more viable with Hekker.

3) Ryan Stonehouse- 82 OVR

Ryan Stonehouse is a relatively new punter for the Tennessee Titans, but he is already making a name for himself. With a 99 kick power, he boasts arguably the strongest leg in the entire game. Punting with him will actually be enjoyable.

2) Tommy Townsend- 83 OVR

It’s rather ironic that the best offense in the NFL that rarely needs to punt has the (tied) top-rated punter in Madden 24. The Kansas City Chiefs do not punt often, but Tommy Townsend does an excellent job whenever they need to pin an opponent deep.

1) AJ Cole III- 83 OVR

AJ Cole III does get a bit of practice punting with the Las Vegas Raiders, but he hardly needs it. He routinely kicks the ball far down the field with pristine accuracy. The Raiders have a few great players, but Cole is the only one who tops his position ratings.
