Madden 24 has revealed the full ratings of all players. With the game live, every single player in the game has an overall rating and ratings on all of their attributes. That includes rookies who have never played in the NFL before. Here are the best of that group that each franchise is hoping turns into a superstar.

Who are the best-rated rookies in Madden NFL 24?

Here are the best rookies in Madden NFL 24. Surprisingly, no quarterbacks like Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, or Anthony Richardson made the list. Honorable mentions include Tyree Wilson, Emmanuel Forbes, Peter Skoronski, Quentin Johnston, Jordan Addison, Will Levis, Deonte Banks, Jake Moody, and others. Nevertheless, these are the top rookie ratings from EA Sports:

  1. Dalton Kincaid – 76 OVR
  2. Christian Gonzalez – 77 OVR
  3. Zay Flowers – 77 OVR
  4. Paris Johnson Jr. – 77 OVR
  5. Jahmyr Gibbs – 77 OVR
  6. Jaxon Smith-Njigba – 78 OVR
  7. Devon Witherspoon – 78 OVR
  8. Will Anderson Jr. – 78 OVR
  9. Jalen Carter – 79 OVR
  10. Bijan Robinson – 81 OVR

Below we’ll go over each player in detail.

10) Dalton Kincaid – 76 OVR

Dalton Kincaid joins the Buffalo Bills and starts his Madden career as a 76 overall. For a rookie tight end, that’s incredibly strong. He should be plenty active within the offense and be a reliable TE in Madden all year long. He steps in alongside one of the best tight ends in the league in Dawson Knox.

9) Christian Gonzalez – 77 OVR

The New England Patriots jumped at the opportunity to land Christian Gonzalez, who many considered the top cornerback in the entire class. He will be in Bill Belichick’s system, which is good to CB players more often than not. Expect him to flourish and make this 77 look like an insult.

8) Zay Flowers – 77 OVR

Zay Flowers is one of the more raw prospects at WR, but there is no denying his talent. He has the physical ability and the pedigree to get much better than his admittedly solid 77 overall starting rank. Playing with Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens will help, too. He’ll be a featured target down the field thanks to his elite speed rating.

7) Paris Johnson Jr. – 77 OVR

Paris Johnson Jr. was one of the best offensive lineman available in the draft and his Madden 24 rating reflects that. He will be tasked with protecting Kyler Murray when he recovers from ACL surgery, and the Arizona Cardinals can feel good knowing they have a 77 overall with room to grow doing that. A lot of tackles aren’t even this good at any stage in their career, so this is a great starting point.

6) Jahmyr Gibbs – 77 OVR

It was a shock to see Jahmyr Gibbs go so early, especially in the modern NFL. Nevertheless, he was selected that high by the Detroit Lions because he’s a good player, so this 77 overall rating isn’t all that shocking. He replaces D’Andre Swift and will likely become the Lions’ big-play back.

5) Jaxon Smith-Njigba – 78 OVR

Jaxon Smith-Njigba was considered the best wide receiver prospect in this draft class. It was a surprise to see the prospect fall so far and be taken after other wideouts, but Madden is sticking to the guns and keeping him as the top-rated rookie wide receiver. He should thrive with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett drawing coverage away from him.

4) Devon Witherspoon – 78 OVR

Devon Witherspoon was the first cornerback taken off the board by the Seattle Seahawks. That position is vital to a defense’s success and based on his Madden rating, it appears that Witherspoon will quickly be one of the best in the game. He has big shoes to fill where the Legion of Boom used to play, but it looks like he’s up for it.

3) Will Anderson Jr. – 78 OVR

Edge rusher is a deep and talented position in the NFL, so being the best rookie of that position group comes with high Madden ratings. Will Anderson Jr., the third overall pick in the NFL Draft by the Houston Texans, earned a 78 to kickstart his career. There’s a good reason Houston traded back up to land him.

2) Jalen Carter – 79 OVR

Before the car crash and legal issues, Jalen Carter was projected to be the top overall selection. That kind of prediction does not come without some talent, and Madden 24 clearly believes what the Philadelphia Eagles believe- that Carter is a very good player. Now that those issues are likely behind him, he’ll get back to wrecking offensive lines.

1) Bijan Robinson – 81 OVR

Bijan Robinson was being called the best running back prospect since Saquon Barkley. That comes with high pedigree as Barkley has become an elite NFL HB. Robinson goes to the Atlanta Falcons where he’ll star in one of the most run-centric offenses in the league. The team made UDFAs and late-round picks look good last year, so imagine what they can do with a highly-touted prospect and the best rookie in Madden 24.
