With any Roster, knowing who the best quarterbacks or wide receivers are is essential. This is especially so if you want to create your Madden Ultimate Team. The Madden NFL series is constantly being updated with new information regarding the players. As a result, you’ll want your rosters to be updated adequately with your player’s information. Thankfully, there is a simple way to update your player Roster in Madden 24.
How to update rosters in Madden 24
First, get to your rosters:
- On the home screen, scroll to the NFL Logo next to the gear icon.
- This is the Creation Center. Click on it
- Navigate to the Edit Rosters tab.
You will see the various ways you can manage your Roster, including Manage Players, Trade Players, make sure players are leveled up, and Team Breakdown. You can then navigate to Update Roster on the right side of the screen. This is true for all platforms: PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
These Rosters are updated once a week. Once you have downloaded the Updated Roster, go to Download Community Files. You can also find this in the NFL Logo menu under Share and Manage Files. Next, navigate to Roster and download the file you want. Once downloaded, go to Load and Delete Files, and select the Updated Roster you wish to load.
Roster updates will be useful for head-to-head play as well as starting a franchise. You wouldn’t want to start franchise mode with a team that doesn’t have the star running backs they added in free agency, and this is how you can ensure you have the latest.
Thankfully, getting your hands on the latest updates is fairly straightforward. It should also go without saying that you need to have an active internet connection to get these updates. You may also receive notifications on whether new Rosters are ready to download and you can proceed with the above steps to ensure your ratings and rosters are accurate.
When does a Madden 24 roster update come out?
While Madden 24 roster updates will come out semi-regularly during the NFL season, they’re not as common prior to. In fact, the first one hasn’t even happened yet. It is scheduled for September 7, right before the NFL season kicks off. After that, they will become rather frequent as weeks in the NFL season pass.
