MLB The Show 23’s Diamond Dynasty is once again the reliable game mode Sony has come to rely on. Along with Road to the Show, it’s the one players flock to. Within this mode, there are so many different card sets and packs that players can open to fill their lineup. More are released all the time.

One of the most popular sets in Diamond Dynasty is the Alter Ego pack. As their name would suggest, these cards focus on players’ nicknames- or their alter egos. For example, Chris Taylor of the Los Angeles Dodgers is CT3. Here’s how you can get these packs in MLB the Show.

How can I get Alter Ego packs in MLB the Show 23?

The simplest way to get an Alter Ego pack in MLB the Show 23 is to visit the store. At the Pack Market, these packs are readily available for stubs. The Base tier for this particular set includes five 97 OVR diamond players. The Rare tier includes three 99 OVR diamond cards. You can then choose from either diamond player item.

These are available for 50,000 stubs, with three packs coming to players who spend that much. Since these sets change with new releases, older versions are not available. However, Alter Ego Pack Incognito Series players can come in the free Alter Ego Choice Pack. This is available in the Incognito Series Program, where you can select one of these three Alter Ego Packs.

To do this requires the completion of that program, so it’s time-consuming. It doesn’t cost any stubs, though. Players such as Clayton Kershaw (aka Kersh), Mitch Garver, Willie Mays (Say Hey Kid), Jim Palmer, Tom Seaver (Tom Terrific), Scott Barlow, Carlos Santana (Slamtana), José Abreu (Mal Tiempo), Ryne Sandberg (Ryno) and others have been featured in this set.
