Weapons are always an addition that can be expected in MW2 seasons, and Season 6 is no different. There are new guns and melee weapons to add to your combat arsenal, so you can take on all the events and gameplay Season 6 offers. We’re here to let you know all the MW2 Season 6 Weapons in this list, so you can decide what you want to play with.

All Weapons in MW2 Season 6

There are four new weapons coming in Season 6 of MW2, as revealed by the official blog post:

  • TR-76 Geist Assault Rifle
  • ISO 9mm SMG
  • Dual Kamas Melee Weapon
  • DOOM Chainsaw Melee Weapon

Each of these weapons arrives at launch or in the mid-season update of Call of Duty Season 6 for fans to obtain and use in various modes. Keep in mind that some weapons tends to feel better depending on whether you’re on a keyboard and mouse or controller, so your preference may change based on whether you use PlayStation, Xbox, or PC regularly.

TR-76 Geist Assault Rifle

The TR-76 Geist is a highly adaptable assault rifle that is capable of being customized to fit any need. Assault rifles have remained popular for all of MW2, and the TR-76 Geist is a worthy addition to the lineup. This gun will be available at launch with the new Season 6 Battle Pass.

It boasts a moderate rate of fire and manageable recoil, all with strong damage. This is before you even take it to the Gunsmith, where you’ll find you can customize it extensively for whatever you need, whether it’s accuracy or power. It’s perfect for all manner of modes, from the new Haunting Events to Gunfight.

ISO 9mm SMG

The ISO 9mm is a submachine gun that comes from one of the most famous weapon platform in MW2, ISO. This SMG is best at rapid fire to take out any opponent you face. You’ll find this gun at the season launch in the Battle Pass.

This SMG works best at long range, with a high maneuverability and high fire rate. It’s great for spraying enemies far away and keeping the bullets flying. However, it also boasts good stability, so you won’t have trouble keeping your eyes on the target with its low recoil. It makes a fine addition to the extensive MW2 SMG lineup.

Dual Kamas Melee Weapon

What’s a new season of MW2 without a cool melee weapon? The Dual Kamas are here to fill that position, with two curved blades perfect for close quarters. This melee weapon can be found in the Battle Pass at the launch of Season 6.

The Dual Kamas have two sickle-like blades that are perfect for cutting down enemies. They are sharpened to perfection for high damage, to slice up foes with no problem. They’re a great addition for variety in the melee weapon list and will work anywhere you can think of, from the new maps to the old ones.

DOOM Chainsaw Melee Weapon

Activision isn’t just treating us to one new melee weapon this season, but two. The DOOM Chainsaw is a bloody addition to the melee weapon category that can be found in the DOOM Tracer Weapon Bundle at mid-season, which also includes a shotgun blueprint. The Shotgun also features a new trigger attachment.

The DOOM Chainsaw is actually a variant of the Pickaxe, and will not have its own progression or mastery reward with it. However, that shouldn’t turn you off. This model of the famous melee weapon from DOOM is perfect for tearing apart aliens or opponents on the battlefield, no matter where you are.

When are the Season 6 Weapons coming to MW2?

Each one of these weapons is coming at the release date of the new Season 6 of MW2 and Warzone this September, for fans everywhere. While there aren’t any new battle rifles, sniper rifles, or marksman rifles, all of which are favorites among the community, the extensive weapons for Season 6 will give you plenty to play with.

There’s plenty more to see in Season 6, titled The Haunting. There are plenty of Halloween-themed crossovers, including new operators and operator skins like Spawn Al Simmons, Alucard from Hellsing, Skeletor, Ash Williams from Evil Dead 2, Inarius and Lilith from Diablo, and more. New maps are coming, such as La Casa, Koro Village, King, and Fight. El Asilo and the Embassy will also feature a Halloween reskin. The infected zombies are making their comeback in the new Halloween event, filled with scares. There are even updates to existing game modes, like Domination and Kill Confirmed.

Whether you’re choosing a new primary weapon or a secondary weapon, the final Season 6 of MW2 has plenty of choices for you with the new weapon list. From full auto to powerful melee weapons, Season 6 has not only variety, but fun as you jump into the Haunting, and prepare for the new Modern Warfare 3.
