Another new season of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone has finally been released. Season 5 is packed with all sorts of new content, from new game modes to new operators.
There are new weapons to be earned, all kinds of in-game cosmetics like skins to get, and five new playable operators. One of these new operators is the mysterious Arthur, and he’s able to be unlocked in Season 5 of MW2 and Warzone.

How to unlock Arthur in MW2 and Warzone
There’s only one way for players to unlock Arthur in MW2 and Warzone, and that’s by purchasing the Season 5 BlackCell Battle Pass for $29.99 USD. Arthur is a BlackCell exclusive, and he won’t be available in the Standard Battle Pass.
The good news is that as soon you purchase the BlackCell pass, Arthur will be available immediately in multiplayer, including his K9 second-in-command, Merlin, along with a special Finisher Move. Merlin is part of the new Tactical Pets feature that’s being introduced in Season 5, and he’s the only companion operator Arthur associates with.
MW2 and Warzone – Who is Arthur?
Arthur is one of Shadow Company’s best, however, we don’t know much about his backstory. He is a faceless soldier with little to no history that can be found. We can assume he operates under the Shadow Company faction’s leader.
Arthur is just one of the new operators coming with Season 5, along with:
