There are tons of goodies for gamers to get in the Vault Edition of MW3, so let’s go into them.

What’s in the Vault Edition of MW3?

The Vault Edition of the game is the premium edition of MW3, where you’ll get plenty of rewards along with the base edition of the game for you to enjoy the newest CoD title to its fullest potential. It has an MSRP of $99.99 USD, or regional equivalent. Here’s everything you can find in the Vault Edition of MW3:

  • Nemesis Operator Pack
  • Soap Operator Pack
  • Two Weapon Vaults
  • BlackCell Battle Pass for Season 1
  • Early Access to the MW3 Open Beta
  • Early Campaign Access for MW3

The two Operator Packs include the Nemesis Operator Pack, which contains four Operator Skins for Price, Ghost, Warren, and Makarov. The Vault Edition will also reward you with immediate access to the Soap Operator Pack in MW2 and Warzone as part of the pre-order bonuses. This will carry over to MW3.

Two Weapon Vaults, the Fate Weapon Vaults, will be available in the Vault Edition version of the game as instant rewards, including weapon blueprints, as well as the accelerated BlackCell Battle Pass redemption with 50 tier skips that is good for the entirety of Season 1 of the game. You’ll also get hours of Double XP Tokens to enjoy.

Most exciting is early access to the MW3 Open Beta, and playing the MW3 Campaign up to a week early as a preorder bonus for Vault Edition owners.

This all comes with the Cross Gen bundle of Call of Duty MWIII, so you can play on the previous generation version on consoles and the next-generation version.

There is also a special Vault Edition poster featuring Vault Edition art for purchase that comes with a special adhesive, however, this poster is a separate purchase and doesn’t come with the Vault Edition of the game.

Is the Vault Edition worth purchasing?

We believe the Vault Edition will be worth it if you plan of playing the game consistently and as soon as it releases. Hardcore CoD fans will benefit greatly from the Vault Edition of the game, but if you aren’t a regular player, it’s probably not worth it because you won’t be using much of the content that comes with it.

MW2 also had a Vault Edition as a cross-gen bundle that included plenty of content for fans, including Red Team 141 Skins for Ghost, Soap, Farah, and Price, and the FJX Cinder Weapon Vault. Die-hard fans were pleased with the content in the MW2 version of the Vault Edition, so if plan on playing MW3 consistently, it’s probably worth picking up the Vault Edition.

The base game will still give players access to plenty of content outside of the Vault Edition, as shown during the reveal event, which included the reveal trailer, that took place in MW2 and Call of Duty Warzone. It will feature unprecedented global conflict in a globe-trotting single-player campaign, the return of the iconic operators in Task Force 141, immersive multiplayer combat that the series is famous for along with a suite of other gameplay, including plenty of maps, and tons of free items like the Weapon Vault contents and operator quips, whether you have the physical copy or digital version.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare III is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC for fans of the series everywhere. No matter what platform you play on, you’ll be able to download the next iteration of CoD onto your console and take your gameplay to new heights on a next-generation console or previous generation version.
