There are some exceptions, but the position has changed in the last few years. 9) Jarrett Allen – 84 OVR

Jarrett Allen is a consistent force for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The center is going to pull down a lot of rebounds on both the offensive and defensive end. He’s not asked to do a whole lot more, but he excels in that area. He’s pretty young, so he’ll be good in NBA 2K24 for a while.

8) Rudy Gobert – 84 OVR

Rudy Gobert is perhaps the best rim protector in the game, and his plethora of badges reflect that. His offensive game isn’t nearly as good, but he’s a perennial Defensive Player of the Year candidate. That comes with a strong NBA 2K24 rating.

7) Myles Turner- 85 OVR

Myles Turner is a staunch defender at the rim. On the offensive end, the Indiana Pacers star is one of the few centers that can genuinely knock down three-pointers. He can score from most spots on the floor and possesses elite shot-blocking ability. Those two things are vital for the modern center.

6) Brook Lopez – 85 OVR

Brook Lopez reinvented himself for the Milwaukee Bucks, adding a good three-point shot to his offensive arsenal. He can shoot from anywhere on the floor and be a surprising offensive help to Giannis Antetokounmpo and company. Fans of his have seen him improve over his career, and he’s rewarded with another good 2K rating.

5) Karl-Anthony Towns – 86 OVR

Karl-Anthony Towns is also one of the best-shooting big men in NBA 2K24. His defensive game is lacking, so he’s not much of a threat down low. Still, he can score with the best of them and features a polished offensive game. The Minnesota Timberwolves have resolved to build around him, and for good reason.

4) Kristaps Porzingis – 87 OVR

Kristaps Porzingiz is the rare center who can truly protect the rim and play on the perimeter. He features decent handles, a solid jump shot, and genuine rim protection for the Washington Wizards. He’s getting older, but he remains a strong piece to build a team around and his solid NBA 2K24 rating reflects that.

Bam Adebayo is an all-around center for the Miami Heat. He is the focal point and the main distributor of their offense. Everything runs through him when he’s on the court. This is thanks to his exceptional passing, his soft touch at the rim, and his high basketball IQ.

Joel Embiid won MVP last season. If not for an otherworldly talent in Nikola Jokic, the Philadelphia 76ers star would be the best center in the game. As it stands, he comes in with the second-highest rating of all players, so he’s a special talent regardless.

Nikola Jokic is not just the best NBA 2K24 center, but the best player in the entire game. The 2023 NBA Finals MVP, NBA champion, and two-time league MVP is widely considered the best player in basketball. The Denver Nuggets star is a dominant player on offense. He’s one of the best passers in the game, a great shooter and scorer. His overall rating is well-earned.
