The NBA 2K24 court report on Mamba Moments is here! Ahead of the release in September, 2K Sports is giving fans an inside look at what they can expect from their favorite game modes. Cover athlete Kobe Bryant is one of the most iconic athletes in NBA history, so naturally, he gets his game mode. Here’s what to expect.

What is Mamba Moments in NBA 2K24?
For two decades, the Los Angeles Lakers could count on Kobe Bryant to make the plays they needed desperately. A game-winner? Give the ball to Bryant. A clutch defensive stand? Switch Bryant onto the opponent’s star. He has been part of some of the biggest moments in NBA history, and now gamers can recreate them with Mamba Moments.
Aside from the regular captivating performances and iconic highlights, 2K24 is seeking some deeper cuts. The unheralded plays, huge playoffs, or forgotten performances from his legendary career will be front and center for Mamba Moments.
Here are the moments you can expect to play:
- 2001 Western Conference Semifinals, Game 4 vs. Sacramento Kings
- Kobe Sets NBA Three-Point Record vs. Seattle SuperSonics
- The Mentee Faces His Mentor vs. Washington Wizards
- Kobe Erupts for 62 Points in Three Quarters vs. Dallas Mavericks
- Three-Point Barrage Leads to 65-Point Game vs. Portland Trail Blazers
- 2008 Western Conference Finals, Game 5 vs. San Antonio Spurs
- 2010 NBA Finals, Game 7 vs. Boston Celtics
Other moments, such as his 81-point game vs. the Toronto Raptors, his teaming up with Shaq, and more will be featured on Bryant’s transcendent journey to becoming one of the greatest players of all time and getting on the cover of NBA 2K multiple times.
NBA 2K’s Mamba Moments mode will be similar to the Jordan Challenge of its predecessors. You can also check out the Kobe Bryant Building and earn rewards found in MyTeam and MyCareer.
This year’s game is coming out on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. This game mode is not restricted to new-gen players and will be present in the Black Mamba Edition and other versions of the game.
