NBA 2K24 is slated for a release in early September, with the NBA regular season following closely behind. Even with it being a little more than a month away, 2K Sports has kept the ratings hidden. Not a single player has been revealed from any position.

Power forward is a very deep position in the NBA and it’s expected that there will be a lot of good PF players in NBA 2K this year. Here is our best prediction of who the best five rated players at that position will be.

If you’re interested in reading more ahead of the release of NBA 2K24, check out the official release date, our predictions on the top-rated centers, and what Victor Wembanyama’s 2K rating might be.

Who will be the top-rated power forwards in NBA 2K24?

Here are the best power forward rating predictions. Honorable mentions include Julius Randle, Zion Williamson, Paolo Banchero, and others. This does not include small forwards who can play the four, like LeBron James or Paul George. It also does not include centers that can shift to the four, like Karl-Anthony Towns.

5) Jaren Jackson Jr.- 87 OVR

The reigning Defensive Player of the Year is perhaps the best defender at his position. With players like Pascal Siakam and Giannis Antetokounmpo playing in the same spot, that is an accomplishment. His offensive game consists mostly of lobs and putbacks, but for a power forward who is so dominant on defense, it doesn’t matter all that much. He’s much younger than most of the other top-rated power forwards, so he has room for even more upward growth in NBA 2K24.

4) Pascal Siakam- 88 OVR

There was a craze around the league when it was reported that Pascal Siakam might be available. The power forward insists on staying with the Toronto Raptors, but that didn’t stop teams from inquiring and fans from fantasizing about his addition. That indicates, obviously, that he’s very good. The lengthy big man is an excellent defender on the perimeter and down low, which is rare for a power forward. He’s very strong offensively and on the glass and can shoot from the midrange if necessary. All that makes him an elite player at the four spots.

3) Anthony Davis- 91 OVR

Injuries have robbed Anthony Davis of some playing time over the years, but he’s still a dominant force in the paint. He’s also developed a little bit of a jump shot in the last few seasons, which helps make him a well-rounded player. He’s older than some of his counterparts and certainly more brittle, but he is one of the NBA’s best paint defenders and is easily capable of scoring 30 to go with 15 rebounds. His upcoming 2K rating should reflect that.

2) Kevin Durant- 97 OVR

Kevin Durant is and has been one of the best power forwards for a very long time. The future first-ballot Hall of Famer is easily one of the best players in the game, even at age 34. His shooting is as good as almost anyone in the league and he can rebound extremely well. Despite being very tall, he also boasts one of the NBA’s best handles. He is capable of scoring 50 points on a whim, but he will also compile a lot of rebounds and assists to go with it. He should be a top-rated player in 2K once again.

1) Giannis Antetokounmpo- 98 OVR

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the best players in the entire league. He’s become a dominant force, winning an MVP and an NBA Finals. When he’s on the court, there are very few players that can effectively guard him. If he wants to dunk the ball, he’s going to dunk the ball. He has little to no shooting ability, which prevents him from being a 99 overall, which is the best in the game. Still, he’s so good at pretty much every other aspect of the game that it hardly matters. He is probably going to have the best rating of any power forward in NBA 2K24.
