He and Stephen Curry form one of the best backcourt duos in the entire NBA. He can shoot from anywhere on the floor and there’s a very good chance it will go in.

9) Anthony Edwards – 86 OVR

Anthony Edwards is on the verge of becoming a true superstar for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He’s signed to a max contract, so fans of the franchise will be able to watch him develop into a top-flight shooting guard with a nice jump shot and good handles. As it stands, he’s already one of the 10 best in the game and gamers could do a lot worse.

8) DeMar DeRozan – 87 OVR

DeMar DeRozan is not your typical NBA 2K24 player in 2024. He excels at the mid-range shot, which a lot of players have phased out of their games. Derozan will knock down any shot in that area and help his squad win very frequently.

7) Zach Lavine – 87 OVR

Zach Lavine is an athletic star in this game. The Chicago Bulls guard plays above the rim as a fearless finisher and routinely dunks on players much larger than him. He can also step back and nail three-pointers with good consistency, so he’s an all-around player with a lot of good badges.

6) Bradley Beal – 87 OVR

Bradley Beal is a veteran, having now moved from the Washington Wizards to the Phoenix Suns. He and Devin Booker form the best shooting guard tandem in the entire NBA, as evidenced by their excellent 2K ratings.

5) Tyrese Haliburton – 88 OVR

Tyrese Haliburton has blossomed into a star in this game. He’s one of the youngest players on this list, so to be in the top 5 for his position is excellent. The Indiana Pacers star has a very bright future, so the 88 overall will likely continue to grow.

4) Jaylen Brown – 89 OVR

Jaylen Brown just signed the most lucrative extension in NBA history. The Boston Celtics had a good reason for that, as he is one of the best young guards in the game. He can shoot, play inside, defend, and pass.

3) James Harden – 90 OVR

James Harden wants nothing to do with the Philadelphia 76ers, but they should do whatever it takes to please him. He’s still one of the best shooting guards in the league, capable of dropping a 40-point triple-double at a moment’s notice.

2) Donovan Mitchell – 92 OVR

Donovan Mitchell had one of the best games in NBA history last season, posting over 70 points and 11 assists. That kind of output does not come from a bad player, so the Cleveland Cavaliers star comes in as the second-highest-ranked shooting guard.

1) Devin Booker – 94 OVR

Devin Booker has achieved superstar status for the Phoenix Suns. He’s capable of scoring in bunches and shooting better than most. He can hit tough shots over any defense and has one of the highest ratings in the game. His 94 overall rating tops all of his counterparts.
