In Pikmin 4, you will become a member of the Rescue Corps and track down castaways on a mysterious planet. Thanks to help from the plantlike creatures called Pikmin and the rescue dog Oatchi, you will collect treasures, overcome obstacles, and complete puzzles.
Captain Olimar has been missing for some time and he needs to be rescued. It is your mission to find him and the other castaways. The new sequel to the Pikmin series will bring many firsts like Dandori Battles.
Fans are excited to see what comes in the next entry to the Pikmin series. There is talk about the game coming to Steam Deck and possibly PS4. Does this mean that it will come to Xbox? Is Pikmin 4 on Xbox Series X/S?
Will Pikmin 4 come to Xbox Series X / S?
Nope. Pikmin 4 will not be coming to Xbox Series X/S. The reason for this is that the game is a Nintendo Switch exclusive. Since Pikmin 4 is being made by Nintendo, it will remain exclusive to the company’s console.
There has been no mention from Nintendo that Pikmin 4 will come to any other platform. Just like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can’t expect to see Pikmin 4 to appear on other consoles.
While this is unfortunate, it does give Nintendo an edge since this is a popular series. Plenty of changes are being made to this entry in the Pikmin series. There will be new types of Pikmin as well as a new story and even more treasures to find.

Before purchasing the game, you can download the demo which lets you play through the opening hours of Pikmin 4. Get practice with the game’s mechanics before heading into the full game.
