What can you craft in Starfields research laboratory?
Starfield is the latest immersive space exploration title where you can explore the stars and craft items to help you do this. The Starfield Research Laboratory is a crafting outpost you can utilize to modify your weapons or create other resources you will need on your journey. The Research Laboratory will have five different categories for your research projects:
- Pharmacology
- Food and Drink
- Outpost Development
- Equipment
- Weaponry
As you can tell, the Research Laboratory has what you need when traversing outer space alone or with hired companions. Each category will specialize in the items you require.
For example, Pharmacology will provide you with medical treatment. In addition to the medical treatment you can receive, you will also have the ability to research your Performance Enhancement.
The Equipment research will also allow players to improve their gear and armor. As you travel to various planets, you will encounter different types of gravity and environments and need to upgrade your helmets and spacesuits.
However, within the research lab, we’re sure players will be much more interested in the bountiful of mods available in the Weaponry category. So far, the Research Projects for Weaponry include the following:
- Barrel Mods
- Grip Mods
- Optics and Sights Mods
- Muzzle Mods
Food and Drink, including your Outpost Development, are relatively simple to understand. You can craft various meals or drinks that can restore health or boost productivity. As for your Outpost Development, this will be your base, which you can use for resource extraction, rest, and repair before you set on other Starfield planets.
