While flying a ship in Starfield is cool and all, some players might find it difficult to control it at first. If you’re one of them, there’s some good news for you. There exists a Flight Simulator in Starfield, which you can use to practice your piloting skills and become better at flying your ship. This guide will explain everything you need to know about Starfield’s Flight Simulator location.

How to find the Flight Simulator in Starfield

The Flight Simulator in Starfield is inside the MAST building. For this, you will need to go to Jemison Planet, which can be found in the Alpha Centauri system. The MAST building is located in the MAST District. Once there, make your way inside and find Commander John Tuala. He will introduce you to the United Colonies Vanguard faction, and you will then have to complete a small quest called Supra Et Ultra to join them, which involves using the Flight Simulator.

You can use the elevator to reach the Vanguard Orientation Hall, where you’ll need to register yourself for the Vanguard Exam through the computer terminal. Once done, use the elevator at the end of the hill to reach the Flight Simulator floor. Here, you will find an NPC standing next to the Vanguard Pilot Simulator. Speak to him, and he will let you use it. The simulator will put you in different combat scenarios where you’ll need to fight multiple enemy ships.

There are a total of six levels, but you need to complete only the first three to pass the test. However, completing all of them perfectly can help you earn Credits. You can earn up to 20,000 Credits from them. But do keep in mind that Credits can be earned only during the quest.

After you clear the levels, go speak to Commander Tuala again so he can welcome you to the UC Vanguard faction. However, while you will no longer earn any Credits from the Flight Simulator, you can come back whenever you want to practice flying your ship. Furthermore, there is no better way to rank up your Piloting Skill (a part of the Tech Skills in the Skill Tree) than using the Flight Simulator. Also, make sure you’re using the best graphics settings for better visuals in the simulator.
