Here’s a list of factions in Starfield and how you can join them. Starfield by Bethesda Game Studios will allow players to make extensive changes to their character creation, from traits to combat. There are six factions that are currently known in Starfield. These factions are the following:

Each faction will have its own beliefs and individuals you can find within it. However, there may be more factions that will be unveiled as you progress through the game.

How to join Constellation in Starfield

Constellation is one of the first factions you will meet and automatically join. You must travel to the Lodge in New Atlantis to join and speak to Sarah Morgan. As it’s part of the main story, here you will meet various companions at their headquarters in New Atlantis.

How to join the Freestar Collective in Starfield

To join the Freedom Rangers, you must travel to the Cheyenne System and visit Akila City. Complete the mission Job went wrong, and the following quest Deputized. You will then need to speak to Emma Wilcox and prove yourself by completing tasks on the Mission Board. Once you agree to the pledge, you can join.

The Freestar Collective faction has made its home in the Akila City within the Cheyenne System. This may be your group if you want to join a group centered around personal freedoms. However, be careful not to wander too far; the Ashta may get you.

How to join the Crimson Fleet in Starfield

You can join the Crimson Fleet after you complete the Deep Cover mission. After this mission, complete the Rook Meets Kings quest. After this, you will automatically join the Fleet. How to join the United Colonies in Starfield

To join the UC Vanguard, go to the headquarters and speak to John Tuala. You’ll then need to complete the Supra Et Ultra mission and register for the Vanguard. The United Colonies has the largest political and military forces within Starfield. Similar to Constellation, they are also situated in New Atlantis. If you can already guess, the Freestar Collective and United Colonies are rivals!

How to join the Xenofresh Corporation in Starfield

Unfortunately, how you can join the Xenofresh Corporation in Neon City is unclear. However, since the pleasure city is known for its drug, Aurora, you may work in the drug lab. The fishing outpost is also known for plenty of tourist scams, so you may have to do some dirty work as one of the quests

How to join Ryujin Industries in Starfield

To join Ryujin Industries, you must travel to the Volii System and go to Neon City. Once here, take the elevator to the Neon Upper platform and interact with the Ryujin Industries Kiosk. Here, you can send in a Job Application. Now, you’ll need to complete the Back to the Grind quest and have an interview with Imogene Salzo. You’ll have to complete a few tasks, after which you can join the company.

Can you join multiple factions in Starfield?

Yes! You can join every faction in Starfield at once. Bethesda doesn’t limit players to only one faction or force players to choose between factions. This is similar to previous titles like Fallout 4 where you can also join every faction in the game.
