You may be aware that a bunch of new 360Hz OLED gaming monitors are arriving in 2024, the Alienware AW2725DF being an early example. However, they don’t come cheap, and the previous generation of 240Hz models are now great value for money thanks to price drops.

A good example of this is the AOC Agon Pro AG276QZD, a 1440p monitor which has now been plummeting in price. We’d say that 240Hz is more than smooth enough on this highly-responsive OLED panel, with hundreds of dollars to be saved compared to the latest 2024 models.

This AOC OLED gaming monitor just hit its lowest-ever price

The AG276QZD has been dropping in price quite significantly since it launched, especially as high-spec alternatives are introduced. This OLED gaming monitor had previously been priced at $699.99 for just over a month, then falling to $649.99 to match its lowest-ever price. However, even before the data has updated, we’ve spotted it for as low as $632.45 – a price that is no doubt hard to beat.

With stock levels running low, we’d be quick to snap up this deal while it lasts. Even if it makes a return to the sub-$650 mark. This esports-ready monitor is perfect for competitive gaming thanks to a high refresh rate and practically instant 0.03ms response time.

Is this AG276QZD deal good value for money?

Just looking at the specs, we can see that the AG276QZD is an excellent monitor for gaming. Reaching high framerates is possible at 1440p with a powerful gaming PC, and 240Hz offers a super smooth experience. Sure, 360Hz is the next step up, but we’re really hitting diminishing returns levels here which are hard to notice, with a large price hike involved.

For safely under $650, this OLED monitor is hard to beat in terms of value for money. One of its downsides is the low peak brightness, though this is something you’ll want to take into account with the majority of monitors using this panel type. Regardless, you get unmatched color accuracy and response times for the best viewing (and gaming) experience.
