Now that we know for sure that the LG G4 OLED TV release date is more or less here thanks to pre orders going live, we’ve noticed that Amazon have listed the 77-inch model for way cheaper than the official LG store. More than $1,000 is knocked off the price and we’re not quite sure why.
The brand-new G4 is LG’s premium 2024 OLED TV and it doesn’t come cheap. However, the pricing guidelines seem to be pretty loose given the big disparity in cost. At the time of writing, it is much cheaper on Amazon, so go and figure out where to buy LG G4 OLED TV while you’re here.

Pre orders are now live for the LG G4 OLED on a number of different popular retailers, Amazon included. Early on, finding every single size on Amazon has been a struggle, but the popular 77-inch model is present – a great pick for an immersive home theater experience. Comparing prices below right now reveals a big difference of up to $1,066.43:

- 77-inch LG G4 OLED on B&H Home Video: $4,596.99
As we can see, Amazon is clearly the cheapest option. Even though you do get some pre order bonuses such as 25% off a soundbar when buying from the official store, it still doesn’t offer the best value for money.

Why is the LG G4 OLED TV cheaper on Amazon?
We don’t have a clear answer as to why the brand-new G4 is drastically cheaper on Amazon, though we do expect different retailers to vary on price. We haven’t been able to spot every single size on Amazon like we have on other sites, so we’re interested to see how the full line-up is priced.
