AMD Ryzen 9 4900H Spotted In Online Benchmarks

We have another interesting AMD benchmark for you today. It seems that results for the AMD Ryzen 9 4900H processor have been spotted online. These benchmarks were released in 3DMark and seem to do pretty well against the competition.

What Do the Benchmarks Show?

The benchmarks spotted on 3DMark used an AMD Ryzen 9 4900H APU which was part of the ASUS TUF Gaming A15 laptop. This also included 16 GB of RAM and an Nvidia RTX 2060 GPU.

To give you some background information on the Ryzen 9 4900H APU, it is a powerful 8 core, 16 thread APU with a reported stock core of 3.3 GHz, and a maximum turbo core clock of 4.4 GHz with a TDP of 45 W.

The benchmarks showed a physics score of 22,383 which is high enough to easily outperform an old Intel Core i9-9980HK. More surprisingly, this is also enough to outperform the Intel i9-10980HK processor which has also been benchmarked on the platform and received a score of 20918 points.

AMD Makes Waves in the CPU Market

This is another piece of great news when it comes to AMD and the mobile market. In an area where Intel has traditionally ruled supreme, AMD is making some pretty big waves with these upcoming Ryzen 4000 processors.

It also looks like these processors will offer a great level of performance for this price – something that Intel has historically struggled to balance.

Although Intel may start to drop some of its prices to compete with the upcoming AMD processors, it looks like AMD is just getting comfortable in the laptop, desktop, graphics, and server market for the time being.

What do you think of these upcoming Ryzen processors? Do you think AMD will be able to leave a lasting mark in the mobile market? Could you see yourself making the switch from Intel? Let us know down in the comments section below, we love hearing your thoughts.
