Here’s an interesting deal that would have missed if you aren’t regularly browsing Best Buy deals – the S89C is currently discounted by a significant $500. We recently covered the LG G2 getting a big price drop, and here’s yet another OLED TV deal that is certain to impress.
The Samsung S89C is a bit of a strange option and you may have not even heard of it, as it is exclusive to Best Buy and only comes in a 77-inch screen size. It is identical to the popular S90C OLED, with the only difference being that the S89C comes with feet rather than a conventional stand. So, with a significant disparity in price, this choice seems like a no-brainer.
Samsung S98C discounted at Best Buy
As we cleared up in the intro, the S89C is pretty much identical to the S90C, but it is actually much cheaper than the alternative at the time of writing. You can pick up the S89C for just $1,799.99 – a clean $500 discount compared to its usual $2,299.99 list price. This is currently a massive $700 cheaper than the S90C.
Both of these models sit just under Samsung’s current flagship 4K OLED, the S95C, at least until the S95D release date comes along.
Should I buy the S98C?
The Samsung S98C OLED TV is a fantastic option if you’re looking to upgrade your home theater display or family room display right now. It features a second-generation QD-OLED panel, and at just under $1,800, it is unbelievable value for money for certain.
We fully recommend the S98C if you’re looking to bag one of the best OLED TVs at discount price. The 77-inch model is the perfect size for any larger living space. And since it performs just as well as the S90C, there’s no reason to miss out unless you really prefer the single stand design.
