We all generally have the same opinion that Cyberpunk 2077 should not have launched 3 years ago in the state it was in. For consoles, it was even more of a nightmare, with performance issues and glitches as far as the eye could see. Thankfully, CDPR stuck to its guns and we may finally have a game worthy of the trailers that advertised it.
The new Cyberpunk Patch 2.0 may finally be the overhaul that gives us the game we were promised. This patch is far more than mere bug fixes, although there are a lot of them, this patch is more about overhauling the game as a whole.
Cyberpunk 2077 is reborn
On the 21st of September, Cyberpunk will change as we know it. And I’m not talking about the highly anticipated Phantom Liberty DLC either. I’m talking about Patch 2.0, the free update that’s going to change everything.
If you don’t know what to expect out of Cyberpunk Patch 2.0, we have a resource for that, so read up on the changes coming if you aren’t already familiar with what’s coming.
Here’s the compressed list of the new features coming in Patch 2.0.
Cyberpunk Patch 2.0 features and improvements
- Car Chases
- Vehicle Combat
- Redesigned skill trees and perks
- Combat AI improvements
- New police system
- UI and UX improvements
- Loot, new items, and crafting changes
- New radio stations – these will include Community Radio Station Growl FM
- Redesigned Cyberware
- New capacity system
For me, it has to be the new vehicular combat that takes the cake. We were promised Vehicular combat right from the start, and now we’re finally getting it. However, because we were promised this feature all that time ago, it feels less of an addition and more like we were entitled to it, and it should have been there from the start.
If you wondering whether you should try out the new Cyberpunk 2077 patch 2.0 then absolutely, especially if you haven’t really played the game since its launch just under 3 years ago.
We feel that Patch 2.0, and every improvement CDPR has made to the game since its launch, makes for an entirely different game. One we highly recommend that you try.
