game director Joe Shely, associate game director Joseph Piepiora, and associate director of community Adam Fletcher will be present and speaking. They will discuss updates, what’s on the horizon, and feedback they’ve received.
What is the topic for the Diablo IV Season 1 Campfire Chat?
The topic is likely to be the new season and any updates the team may have. There is confirmation in a Blizzard blog post that that feedback will also be discussed.
Blizzard has taken note of the feedback they’ve received since the release of the latest patch that brings all the content for Season One to the game, as well as bug fixes and balance changes to the game. The stream will feature game director Joe Shely, associate game director Joseph Piepiora, and associate director of community Adam Fletcher.
The feedback for the patch was largely negative, and many believe the nerfs to the different classes, Druid, Barbarian, Rogue, Necromancer, and Sorcerer were too severe. The Sorcerer class, in particular, many feel has become unplayable. Other changes made that were not popular were the increase of difficulty for higher World Tiers, making survivability and leveling harder, and stats nerfs.
The Campfire Chat will address this feedback and answer community questions, as well as discuss the future of Diablo IV and what players can expect in the future. The stream will be available to watch on the official Diablo Twitch and Diablo Youtube channels.
