Epic Games has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to cheating. Even though many players believe that their reports do nothing, the truth is that the Fortnite developer keeps banning numerous players. Despite this, lifetime bans are very rare and only the worst offenders have received them.

Jarvis, a popular YouTube content creator with more than 5 million subscribers, was banned permanently for using aimbot in Fortnite. While Jarvis’ ban was warranted, the latest lifetime bans are very unusual. Several players have received lifetime banks on their Fortnite accounts, yet no one knows what’s going on.

Here is more information about these bans and the players affected by them.

These Fortnite players will not get their accounts back

Earlier this month, a couple of prominent Fortnite players were banned. GMatrixGames and NotJulesDev are both popular members of the community, yet their accounts were banned for seemingly no good reason. Both players tried to contact Epic Games and get their accounts back but to no avail.

Interestingly, both Fortnite players are leakers. Due to this, many other community members believed that was the reason for their bans. However, Epic did not ban or suspend other leakers’ accounts. NotJulesDev has posted several tweets regarding the incident, and it turns out that the video game developer did not explain why they were banned.

The banned Fortnite player had a couple of other accounts banned as well. At the moment, no one knows what caused these bans, but there’s a good chance that these players have done something against the rules. While Epic Games is harsh when it comes to penalties, banning players for no reason isn’t in its interest.

Both prominent leakers contacted the game developer, but their accounts were not unbanned. Instead, they received lifetime bans, and they most likely won’t be overturned.
