The newest Fortnite update dropped on Wednesday morning. It’s the second major update of Chapter 4 – Season 3, which is why Epic Games added a lot of new content with it. The Futurama collaboration has resulted in a couple of new skins, as well as gameplay changes.
A new Raygun was released with the latest collab, along with Mammoth Pistol. Both of these weapons are powerful and can be unstoppable in the right hands. On top of this, Epic also unvaulted a popular item from Chapter 2.

New Fortnite weapons can be found almost everywhere
Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun is a new Mythic weapon that can be found in most loot sources. In addition, it’s sold by Bender, a new NPC located at Mega City. The weapon costs 600 gold bars, but considering how common it is, purchasing it is not necessary.
Just like Kymera Ray Gun from Chapter 2 – Season 7, the new weapon has infinite ammo. Here are its additional stats:
- Damage: 13
- Fire rate: 15
- Magazine size: Infinite
- Reload time: 2.12 seconds
While Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun has an infinite magazine size, it can overheat. Due to this, you will have to use it carefully and avoid cooling it down during a gunfight. The weapon will be available for a limited time as it will be vaulted with the v25.30 update in August.
Mammoth Pistol is similar to Hand Cannon, a fan-favorite weapon from Chapter 1. It uses Heavy Ammo and has a single bullet in its magazine. The new pistol deals 89 damage for a body shot in the Common (Gray) variant, which makes it very powerful. Additionally, the latest Fortnite update also added a new Reality Augment which gives the pistol a 33% chance not to consume any ammo.
Finally, Epic Games unvaulted Lever Action Shotgun. The close-range weapon is available in multiple rarities and will likely stay in the game until the end of the season. Due to this loot change, Epic removed the Maven Shotgun from nearly all sources, making it only available from NPCs.
