With each new graphics card release there seems to be a lot of disappointments with pricing and performance. That’s just where the Intel Arc range keeps improving. With both price reductions and drivers constantly updating, it is a much more appealing choice.
Both the RTX 4060 and RX 7600 launches both weren’t too appealing to most gamers. So when looking for the best GPU, it’s still best to look around for something else. That’s where Intel is starting to make moves.
As WCCFTech reports, Newegg has promos on both of the GPUs so you can get them for lower than the recent options from AMD and Nvidia. The ASRock A770 is available at $309.99, with the A750 now at $249.
This offers a much better value than the new GPUs. As Gamers Nexus show in its RTX 4060 review, the Intel cards come close if not beat out these new cards at times, and now for a lower price. Even with the RTX 4060 price being slashed in Europe it’s still not the biggest change and therefore might not be the best pick either.
Where Intel Arc might have struggled at first was the drivers. Being a new competitor, it has to build up and although it struggled at first, it does continue to improve. Each driver update offers increased framerates in various applications. Like recently the Intel driver update improved Assassin’s Creed Unity performance by 271% at 1080p and 313% at 1440p.
That means, as long as the card is good for whatever you use it for, you should find them a good alternative to the other main manufacturers.
