Released less than a week ago, the new Nvidia GPU is already facing a few challenges. As Videocardz reports a couple of retailers in Europe have cut down the price of the new RTX 4060 GPU. When we looked at whether it is worth it, we saw the pricing is too high for what it offers without improving much over the previous generation. As such it’s not much of a surprise retailers are looking at ways to move the card.

For those looking at where to buy the 4060, Europe is clearly the place to find a good deal. Firstly Mindfactory in Germany has the MSI Ventus for just €310.39, where originally the MSRP is €329. Although it might just be under €20 it is surprising this soon after the release of the GPU. Whilst the Hardware Shop in France is also cutting the price but with a coupon instead. Applying the deal will cut down the price by 6% to €310.15.

The MSI Ventus 2X is one of the cards that are available at MSRP already. But clearly with no interest in the card yet, retailers are trying to move it in any way they can including dropping the price. However, the US has not yet seen any discounts and it remains at $299 MSRP since its launch but that may change still.

Where the 4060 struggles are not really reaching the level of the RTX 3060 Ti. Although that card might be in the older generation, it still has plenty of power in it and comes with better pricing a few years down the road so it is a more tempting option than the higher-priced new card.
