I remember the time when the Lego Star Wars games, and indeed all the Lego film tie-ins were all the rage. Now, after a hiatus the world is excited once more for a new Lego Star Wars game and it is almost with us, and if you can actually get your hands on some of the higher-priced physical editions of the game, they come with something all Lego and indeed Star War collectors are chasing after – if only to immediately try to shill them on eBay to those unfortunate enough to have missed out. Let’s have a look at the different versions.

What time does lego Star Wars launch?

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be playable worldwide from April 5 at 1 AM BST and April 4 at 8 PM EST/5 PM PST.

Coming, as is often the way these days the game will come in several different guises ranging from the standard edition (basically just the game to the deluxe edition with a free, exclusive minifig of Luke himself.

We think though the deluxe edition is for fools. It is the Carbonite (or CE edition) we are after that also comes with a Luke minifig but also includes a steelbook cover with Han Solo, frozen in time in the famous carbonite scene. Uber cool.

This one you can get anywhere. Various retailers are discounting it already but you will generally find it coming in between the $30 and $40 mark. Argos in the UK are packaging it with an X0Wing Lego fighter as well, so we are sure if you are after the physical copy of the game for something such as the Switch especially, it is worth looking around to see who is doing what in your country.
