LG’s new B4 OLED TV is up for pre order, but one of the models is missing

It looks like the time has come for the LG B4 to join the party, with pre orders now going live – just lagging behind the mid-range and premium C4 and G4 models respectively. However, news from CES 2024 promised a new 48-inch model for the B4, but where is it?
Anyone looking for where to buy the LG B4 OLED TV is in luck as the official LG store now has their budget-friendly option listed. On the flip side though, only, the 55″, 65″, and 77″ sizes are currently available, with no sign of the new smallest 48″ model just yet. We’re interested to see how this develops.

48-inch LG B4 nowhere to be found
We’ve had a good look around the LG store to find the latest models – and while the C4 and G4 have all their sizes available, the B4 misses out on the new 48-inch model. For reference, the three sizes below are the very same you’ll find for the B3.
Multiple outlets such as Tom’s Guide and TechRadar commented on the fact that the new 48″ size helps to compete better with the C4, which is part of a series which is well-known for its versatility. The problem is, with it not yet available for pre order in the initial batch, we can’t know for certain when it will come.
When will it come out?
According to the LG store, pre orders for the C4 and G4 will be getting shipped starting the week of March 18th. However, placing the B4 in your cart and getting your pre order all ready to go doesn’t yet show us these details.
Given the fact that it has only just been listed on the site, just under two weeks after their other OLED series, we expect the B4 to arrive a little later. Comparing release schedules side-by-side would suggest in a few weeks from now. We’ll be keeping our LG B4 OLED TV release date page up to date to keep you posted.
