With the news that Amazon listings are live for the LG C4 OLED TV and the new 2024 model is now available for pre order, we noticed a curious thing about the pricing of the new C-series when comparing different sites. From what we’ve seen so far, Amazon offer a much lower price than the official LG website – and indeed other retailers.

As you may expect, the LG store is selling the C4 OLED at full price. And while the official store is offering C4 pre orders bonuses, early Amazon listings cost hundreds less to easily offer the best value for money, unless there’s been some kind of mistake. We hope not though.

Amazon lists LG C4 OLED TV for over $400 less

When comparing the official LG website and Amazon listing for the 55-inch model for example, we can see that they are priced at $1,999.99 and $1,579.65 respectively. This is massive difference of $420.34 which is certainly strange to see. LG do knock off $200 when bundled with a soundbar, but that still doesn’t come close to covering the cost.

We’ll have to see if this lower price holds up until release date, which is slated for March 11 according to multiple Amazon product pages. Either way, if you’re interested in upgrading to the LG C4 OLED TV, then Amazon looks like the best place to get your pre order in early.

We’ve already put together a where to buy LG C4 OLED page if you want a full up-to-date list on the very best places to look. Aside from the LG store and Amazon, B&H Home Video is another retailer getting in on the action early. While they also have prices cheaper than the official storefront, they still don’t drop as low as Amazon.

The LG C4 looks to be a great upgrade to the LG C3, offering a higher 144Hz refresh rate and all the usual processor improvements and tweaks we’ve seen in the past couple of generations. See our LG C4 vs C3 OLED TV comparison for a closer look.
