The month of the Marauders Steam release date was announced at Gamescom 2022 (and on Twitter) by Team17 and Small Impact Games as being sometime in October 2022. This is the date of the Marauders Early Access, which (in the style of other games like Escape From Tarkov to which it is compared) is effectively the Marauders game release date – players will be able to play the game as the developers add content, tweak features, and respond to player feedback.
Before then, those who pre order Marauders will also be able to play the second closed Beta.
When will the full game of Marauders be released?
As to when the Marauders is actually ‘completed’ is anyone’s guess (Tarkov has been in an extended Beta for several years now), but given the popularity of the game among streamers and the early player base, we’re hopeful that the indie developers will make the most of the opportunity and add substantial content.

Can I play Marauders now?
Your next opportunity to play Marauders will be in the second closed Beta, which will run from September 6th – 14th, but you’ll need to pre order the game. The Marauders Early Access release date will be some time in October.
Is Marauders coming to console?
Currently Marauders is only confirmed for PC release (on Steam and via the PC Game Pass).
Cameron Small, lead designer of Small Impact Games has stated in an interview with The Loadout that if the game was to end up being ported to console at some point, it would be for current-gen only (Xbox Series X & S and PlayStation 5).
Can you play Marauders solo?
You can play Marauders solo or in a crew. Both offer somewhat different experiences, with solo play being a more tense, scary, and challenging experience. We’d recommend doing solo raids with minimal gear whilst you first learn the game.
How do I download Marauders?
You can download Marauders from the official site by pre ordering the game.
You will only be able to download and play the game during the next Closed Beta however, and then will have to wait until the full Marauders Early Access release.
