Now bear in mind this is a just a leak so could turn out to be complete nonsense but the site breaking the news has a decent track record for getting the games on the head and if they are correct this time around then we will be seeing an elecectic collection of golf, war and general fisticuffs coming next weekend.

PS Plus Games October 2021 leaked

As we begin to get closer to the Holiday season we might have expected something with a spooky feel about it for the October games but unless there is going to be a Witch Mode on the golf course then the leaked news that PGA Tour 2K21 is not gonna scratch that horror itch.

Hell Let Loose PS Plus debut

On the other hand, if you want to experience the horrors of war, then Hell Let Loose for PS5 is probably the closest you’re going to get. Think of it like a more hardcore Battlefield V, but on a bigger scale (100 players per server), and you get the idea of what to expect. The game is already popular with PC milsim fans, and the fact it’ll free to PS Plus subscribers during it’s release (October 5), should give it a good chance to make an impact before Vanguard arrives.

Last but not least, PS Plus subscribers will be able to beat seven bells out of each other with Mortal Kombat X which is actually a pretty good game. Note that it is the base version not the XL version so a few of the DLC characters and the like will be missing but if you want to dip your toes in the murkey water of this classic franchise this is a great looking way to do so.

The list of games for the October PS Plus freebies then are as follows:

We will know on Wednesday 29 September whether this list turns out to be accurate when Sony makes its announcement. We expect it to be correct though so we can start looking forward to getting out hands on the game soon.
