You can truly light up your whole ecosystem with the all-new Razer Chroma Smart Home app. Razer announced the new app at CES, and it will integrate a range of smart home devices to let you control them all from one place. The Chroma Smart Home won’t be limited to just Razer products as they promise integration from other companies producing smart devices. This announcement alongside their earlier on for the Razer x Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch shows Razers plans of further expansion out of the normal for a gaming company.

Razer’s hoping to simplify usage of your smart devices. The single ecosystem will let you more easily set up any device and integrate it easily. From the landing page teaser, we can assume you’ll be able to segregate your house into different rooms for fine control. As well as adding routines for when you want to control when devices turn on and off without your input. Making it very easy to create an environment you may want. There’s also a tab for households so that may allow you to choose different households to control. Or let others in on the ability to control the devices too so you can share out the control.

Razer boasts the Smart Home app comes with 16.8 million colors and a suite of lighting effects. This much choice and variety will give users all the choices they may have in customization. This will also allow the creation of an immersive environment that reacts with all their home entertainment.

Razer Chroma Smart Home program

Alongside their app, Razer has offered an open invitation to other partners to enter their Razer Chroma Smart Home ecosystem. Understandably they’re looking for more takers to fit into their software to try to deliver on the promise to be able to control all your devices from one place.

At the moment the Smart Home Program currently includes partners such as Nanoleaf, LIFX, Yeelight, Monster, and Twinkly. With Razers Chroma RGB being supported on thousands of devices across 50 hardware partners and over 200 natively integrated games.

With this combination, you can get immersive experiences all with one ecosystem. The combination of Razers customization and integrations will give you an immersive and new experience from one place. So as long as Razer can get more companies on board this will be a great way of integrating the whole Smart Home together and into the gaming world. Razer is truly trying to tie in the whole environment with the gaming world.
