For the next generation of graphics cards, you may be considering AMD’s RNDA 3. In that lineup, you may be interested in the leader of the pack, the RX 7900 XTX.

The new flagship offers the full power of the next generation of graphics cards, bringing an affordable alternative to Nvidia’s RTX 4000 series to the table.

This could arguably be the next best graphics card on the market, being less powerful than the RTX 4090, but, costing much less.

The card was confirmed in the RDNA 3 announcement for the 13th of December and now the review embargo has lifted many gamers will be weighing up their options. Of course, the RX 7900 XTX releases at the same time as the RX 7900 XT, both of which have received glowing reviews so far.

Where can you buy an RX 7900 XTX?

Looking for the right place to buy your graphics card then there are a few places you can look for the right card. So if you’re in the US, you want to look at Best Buy, Newegg, or Amazon.

Whilst in Canada you also have Amazon and Newegg to look at. With the UK we have Amazon, Scan, Ebuyer, Novatech, and Overclockers to check for.

When can you buy an RX 7900 XTX?

You will be able to buy the RX 7900 XTX from the 13th of December 2022. Alongside the RX 7900 XT, the two will be the first available cards to buy from the new AMD generation of graphics cards.

How much will the RX 7900 XTX cost?

The RX 7900 XTX will set you back $999. It is a much more affordable and lower price than expected. Which should bring some great price to performance over the over selections.

Is the RX 7900 XTX available to pre order?

Currently, it is not, but even to the release date, the RX 7900 XTX pre order is unlikely to go up. This is from the shortages previously experienced so you have to wait until the release date to be able to grab one from the many retailers.

When is the RX 7900 XTX embargo?

It is most likely that AMD will lift the embargo of the card on the day of release or at least the day before. This would be either on the 13th or 12th of December respectively. So you don’t have to wait too long before you can find out all the info on the cards.
