As Gamescom is in full swing, AMD is also looking to give gamers some excitement with what it has to bring to the table. With that, it has scheduled the 25th of August to be a day full of new information and events but if you’re not there it doesn’t mean you have to miss out on what’s coming from them. We bring you where to watch AMD’s Gamescom event where we expect to see new Radeon graphics cards.

AMD Gamescom live stream

You can find the live stream on YouTube from IGN just below. You can also find it on AMD’s Twitch page when the event starts.

AMD Gaming Festival 2023 countdown

Below is a countdown to the start of the stream. It is scheduled for 11 am EST/4 pm BST/5 pm CEST

What to expect from AMD’s Gaming Festival 2023

On its event page, AMD has promised those attending the event the following:

  • Eight hours of gaming entertainment
  • Hands-on gaming in the latest games with FSR
  • Play and stress test the latest gaming hardware
  • Raffles
  • Signing sessions with your favorite gamers
  • Free swag and more

For those of us streaming the highlight show, there’s been plenty of leaks and rumors as to what you might expect. Firstly the biggest expectation is the announcement of new graphics cards. As leaked a few weeks prior, there is certainly more to see from around the venue. AMD Radeon tweeted that something big is coming at the event, while the event floor gives teases as to what to expect.

As one user replies, Sonniku15 expects the RX 7800 XT and 7700 XT along with FSR 3 to be the highlights of the show. Both of these would be a good addition to AMD’s lineup in general, as the current graphics cards do lack in that mid-tier sweet spot compared to Nvidia. While the updated upscaler has been lacking for nearly a year after being announced with RDNA 3 but has yet to come out, it could finally give a good update to fight DLSS.
