As with any Resident Evil game, the Resident Evil 4 Remake is filled with various items that you can unlock as you progress through the game. After beating the game, you will get a rank along with a stack of CP. The rank you obtain directly correlates to what items you unlock. Completing specific requirements will unlock more items for you to use in subsequent playthroughs. Here are all the Resident Evil Remake unlockables and how to obtain them.

Resident Evil 4 Remake unlockables list

There are various unlockable in the Resident Evil 4 Remake such as weapons, costumes, and even new game modes. To unlock everything, you will need to complete the game multiple times over and complete multiple challenges. Below, we have detailed all of the unlockables from the bonus content shop and how to obtain them.

Game Modes

There are multiple game modes for you to unlock should you complete the game.

  • Professional Mode
    • Unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty
  • New Game Plus
    • Unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty and loading a save on a completed playthrough

Costumes

Costumes are able to be bought from the extra content shop and then applied in game to change the look of both Leon and Ashley.

  • Pinstripe (Leon)
    • 2,000 CP – Unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty
  • Shirt (Leon)
    • 500 CP – Unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty
  • Jacket (Leon)
    • 500 CP – Unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty
  • Jacket (Ashley)
    • 500 CP – Unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty
  • Jacketless (Ashley)
    • 500 CP – Unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty
  • Armor (Ashley)
    • 2,000 CP – Complete the campaign on hardcore with an A rank

Accessories

Accessories are items that you can equip on Leon or Ashley to change their looks. Some accessories grant bonuses such as infinite ammo.

  • Glasses (Lexington)
    • 1,000 CP – Unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty
  • Glasses (Square)
    • 1,500 CP – Complete the game on standard mode or higher with an A rank
  • Glasses (Round)
    • 1,500 CP – Complete the game on hardcore mode or higher
  • Sunglasses (Frameless)
    • 1,000 CP – Unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty
  • Gas Mask
    • 2,000 CP – Complete the game on professional mode – Activates aim assist on any difficulty
  • Face Guard
    • 1,000 CP – Unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty
  • Flight Helmet
    • 1,500 CP – Complete the game on hardcore mode or higher
  • Skull Mask
    • 1,000 CP – Unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty
  • Iron Helmet
    • 1,500 CP – Complete the game on standard mode or higher with an A rank
  • Foam Mask
    • 1,000 CP – Complete the game on standard mode or higher
  • Surgical Mask
    • 1,500 CP – Complete the game on hardcore mode or higher
  • Eye Patch
    • 1,000 CP – Unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty
  • Flight Cap
    • 1,000 CP – Complete the game on standard mode or higher
  • Wolf Tail
    • 2,000 CP – Complete the game on assisted mode or higher with an S+ rank – Increases the power of melee attacks (does not include knife attacks)
  • Chicken Hat
    • 2,500 CP – Complete the game on hardcore mode or higher with an S+ rank – Decreases the amount of damage caused by enemies
  • Knitted Cap
    • 1,500 CP – Complete the game on standard mode or higher with an A rank
  • Deer Antlers
    • 2,000 CP – Complete the game on standard mode or higher with an S+ rank – Increases the power of knife attacks
  • Cat Ears
    • 3,000 CP – Complete the game on professional mode with an S+ rank – unlocks infinite ammo

Weapons

There are many weapons in the Resident Evil 4 Remake with some of them being unlocked by completing various challenges in the game.

  • Primal Knife
    • Destroy all 16 Clockwork Castellans in the game
  • Infinite Rocket Launcher
    • Can be purchased from the merchant in new game plus for 2,000,000 Pesetas
  • Chicago Sweeper
    • Complete the game on professional mode with an A rank or higher
  • Handcannon
    • Complete the game on professional mode without any bonus weapons

As you can see, there are plenty of items for you to unlock and collect as you complete the game. Odds are, you will need to play through the game multiple times to unlock all of the items. Be prepared and make sure you know how to defeat bosses like Verugo.
