Is there a way for gamers to Highlight Objects in Baldur’s Gate 3? Within the vast world of adventure in Baldur’s Gate 3, players will undoubtedly come across various creatures, NPCs, mechanics, and interactable items. One of the most important things to do is check the area for treasures; if you don’t, you may miss out on chests or materials or important objects in your immediate vicinity.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is an immersive RPG by Larian Studios in which players can discover unique bosses like Auntie Ethel and valuable companions. With such immersive storytelling, missing something right under your nose or crate is not uncommon with the variety of objects in the immersed world. So, follow this guide to learn how to Highlight Objects in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Can you highlight objects in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Baldur’s Gate 3 has plenty of interactive objects which players can obtain loot or use to interact with the world to progress the story. However, sometimes you may miss those important items you don’t know are there without the Highlight feature. To Highlight Objects, players must click and hold on the Left Alt Key button on their keyboard to highlight nearby items.

Once you hold the Left Alt Key, all nearby objects, valuables, and interactive elements will be highlighted within the game world. All lootable items can be seen within the area when you use this action to highlight items. Additionally, ensure that you move your camera around to see if you’ve missed any other valuable loot.

Additionally, you will have the ability to change these game settings within the Menu. To change the settings, click Escape and select Options. Now, navigate to Keybind, and you will see the basic controls. Next, you can scroll down to Show World Tooltips, in which you can change the setting.

Using this simple feature and trick can benefit players greatly, as the Forgotten Realms have plenty of dark areas. If you don’t have a character with Darkvision, you may miss out on a few items. Thankfully, you can Highlight objects to ensure you don’t miss out on any lootable objects, interactables, or an essential item.
