With the release of Season 2 for Diablo IV on its way, you may be wondering what Season 1’s end date is. All of the new content on its way means the end of the Season of the Malignant for all players.

While fans are hyped for the Season of Blood to begin, that doesn’t mean they’re excited to say goodbye to Season 1. From all the new powers to the new questline, there was plenty to enjoy. What is the official last day of Season 1 of Diablo IV? We’re here to let you know.

End Date for Season 1 of Diablo 4

Season 1 of Diablo IV has an official end date of October 17. This will be the last day to battle the Malignant, gather Malignant Hearts, and more before your seasonal characters are transferred to the Eternal Realm. Luckily, you still have until the end date to play through the season and complete everything you want to do.

Season 1 began on July 20 for players across the globe. With tons of rewards to collect, a Battle Pass with tiers to work through, and a Seasonal Journey, Blizzard packed in the content for the first season. Players could earn weapons, emotes, Season Blessings, and more. Joining Cormond, the questline revolved around stopping the Malignance from taking over Sanctuary after the defeat of Lilith. The Malignance brought in new enemies like Malignant Monsters, Varshan, Malignant Tunnels, and more. However, gamers could also take advantage of the new Malignant Powers.

Luckily, fans won’t have to wait for new content as Season 2 will swoop in to take Season 1’s place. The Season of Blood revolves around vampires, with new Vampiric Powers and a whole new quest to undertake. You’ll earn cosmetics, XP, and plenty more. Make sure you have the system requirements to jump right in.

There’s plenty more coming with the launch of the new season, including new endgame bosses, new characters like Erys to interact with, and new enemies to fight. While we’re sad to see the Season of the Malignant done, there’s tons of fresh content to take its place.
