Each new season of Blizzard’s latest addition to the hellish Diablo franchise comes packed with new content for fans to jump into. The new characters to interact with are just some of the additions coming, but fans want to know more about them. The biggest character being added is named Erys. Who is Erys? Diablo 4 – Who is Erys?
Erys is a new character introduced in the Season of Blood of Diablo IV. She is a seasoned Vampire Hunter who is out to stop Lord Zir, but she needs your help. She’ll be your guide for Season 2, similar to Cormand from Season of the Malignant, and will play a huge role in the new questline.
Erys will become weary once you contract Vampirism, though. She has lost many companions to the plague and has been forced to put them down in the past. While you do not fall under the control of Vampire Lord Zir, she will still find it hard to trust you. She was first revealed during Gamescom where the trailer for Season 2 was shown.
Notably, Erys is played by actress and producer Gemma Chan, who is famous for her work in the movies Eternals and Crazy Rich Asians. She is not the first celebrity to join Diablo IV, but she is a huge highlight for the season.
However, Erys is not the only addition coming with Season 2 of Diablo IV. Players can expect tons of content, including:
- New Uber Uniques and Unique items
- Vampire Powers being added
- New additional endgame bosses
This new content will also be joined by tons of upgrades, like upgrades to Renown rewards, Overpower damage, Paragon Points, Obol capacity upgrades, and more.
