Do you want to know if you can be a vampire in Diablo IV? With the second season of Diablo IV on its way, there’s tons of new content, and fans want to know if being a vampire is part of it.

There have always been vampiric bosses to encounter in Diablo IV, but there has never been the option to play as a bloodsucker. However, with the new season being all about vampires, will you be able to play as one? Can you be a vampire in Diablo IV? We’re here to let you know.

Can you play as a vampire in Diablo 4?

Yes! As a part of the Season of Blood of Diablo IV, your seasonal character will be infected with Vampirism. This will allow you to use special new Vampiric Powers, like transforming into a bat. An entire Vampire Skill Tree will be available, which will allow you to take advantage of all 22 of the Vampiric Powers in your own build.

Not only will you be able to use Vampiric Powers, but you will also face tons of vampire spawn as you begin your seasonal journey across Sanctuary once again.

Is Vampire a new class in Diablo 4?

No, vampire is not a new class being added. While you are infected with Vampirism for all your seasonal characters, you will still have to choose a class from Necromancer, Barbarian, Druid, Sorcerer, and Rogue. Sadly, players will continue to have to wait for the first new class to be added to the game.

If you’re itching to play a vampire class, the Blood Knight in Diablo Immortal is what you’re looking for. However, Blood Knight has no plans of coming to Diablo IV.

There’s tons of content Blizzard has packed into Season 2 of Diablo IV. Along with being a vampire, there’s also:

  • New endgame bosses
  • New Unique items and Uber Uniques
  • Updates to Renown rewards

And more.

The Vampire Lord Zir has begun to take over Sanctuary, going after the blood of innocents and spreading chaos. It is up to you, and your guide, the vampire hunter Erys (played by actress Gemma Chan), to stop him. While the Season of the Malignant may be coming to an end, it opens up all the new powers and new questline available in Season of Blood. However, make sure to have the best CPU for Diablo IV to experience it.
