The hellish open world of Sanctuary in Blizzard’s Diablo IV is filled with terrifying enemies, from reanimated corpses to evil humans like cannibals.

There’s nothing more terrifying than the powerful world bosses that can be found for players to challenge, either taking them on solo or in a party.

One of these bosses is the Wandering Death, and if you’re trying to find where this skeletal world boss is located, we’ve got the answer for you.

Where to find Wandering Death in Diablo 4

There are five different locations that Wandering Death will spawn at in Sanctuary:

  • Fields of Desecration in Hawezar
  • Seared Basin in Kehjistan
  • Saraan Caldera in Dry Steppes
  • The Crucible in Fractured Peaks
  • Caen Adar in Scosglen

Any five of these locations are where you can find the Wandering Death during the world bosses’ spawn time, approximately six hours apart for each spawn. However, you won’t know exactly which location he will pop up in if you haven’t beaten the main campaign.

Once you’ve reached the endgame, though, you’ll unlock a timer that will give you a notification 20 minutes before a world boss appears, and which region it will appear in. This is incredibly useful if you’re on the hunt for the Wandering Death and don’t know where he’ll be.

Diablo 4 – Wandering Death World Boss

The Wandering Death is one of three world bosses along with Ashava the Pestilent and Avarice the Gold Cursed that appear in the open world of Sanctuary for players to gather and defeat for great loot. The bosses each have an equal chance to spawn, but only one will spawn at a time.

Wandering Death is a large skeleton boss with plenty of crowd control and AoE attacks, so try to take him down in a group for the best chance.

Once beaten, he’ll drop plenty of Scattered Prisms that will aid you in socketing gear for more powerful helms, boots, chest armor, and more for your character. Wandering Death, along with the other world bosses, are well worth taking out.
